ANGELINI FOR FUTURE 2021 – Supporting independent research in rare diseases.
Are you a researcher in a public or private non-profit health care organisation? Then you can apply for your project to ANGELINI FOR FUTURE 2021. There is €300,000 available to fund up to two research projects in a late preclinical or early clinical phase.
You can get funding for studies to investigate drug repurposing in rare diseases or in conditions with high unmet medical need in the central nervous system, targeting children. Although there are more than 7,000 rare diseases, only about 400 have approved treatments. Drug repurposing is a good option for these diseases, which affect small populations, and offers the opportunity for new treatments with drugs that are already available but have not yet been specifically studied in these patients.
